Acuarium

Acuarium

Acuarium is an e-commerce solution designed as a digital catalog for a physical business. The platform allows customers to explore the store's product inventory online and, to finalize a purchase, facilitates direct contact with the seller through a redirection to WhatsApp, thus streamlining personalized service. This project was fully developed with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js). The main technical challenge and learning experience consisted of implementing a decoupled services architecture: A REST API was developed and deployed independently in Node.js and Express, responsible for all business logic and communication with the database. A Single Page Application (SPA) was created with React as the client to consume the API's data and render the user interface. This separation allowed me to deeply understand how to orchestrate communication between the frontend and backend, as well as manage the deployment and connection of independent services, including the configuration of the NoSQL database (MongoDB) in a production environment.

Oasis Books

This web application is a functional demonstration of a shopping cart in the context of an online bookstore. The project implements the essential business logic for a user to select books from a catalog, add them to their cart, modify quantities, and see the dynamically updated purchase total. The main objective of this project was to thoroughly understand the mechanics of an e-commerce system. The development allowed me to implement the complete cart logic from scratch, including its state management (adding, deleting, and updating products). Additionally, it was key practice for learning how to structure code modularly, creating reusable functions that can be assigned to multiple interface components, thus optimizing code maintainability and scalability.

The development has focused on accessibility and user experience, implementing two key features: a theme switcher that allows toggling between light and dark modes, and a content translation system. These features aim to facilitate navigation and ensure that the content is understandable to a broader and more diverse audience.

Frontend Store is a simulation of an e-commerce store specializing in t-shirts, developed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The project replicates the essential functionalities of an online store, from product display to a simulated payment gateway. A particular focus has been placed on improving the user experience by incorporating micro-animations on products and other interface elements, aiming to create a more fluid and aesthetically pleasing interaction.

This project is a simulation of a coffee-themed blog, developed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In addition to presenting articles, the platform includes a section for course registration. Attention has been paid to interactivity through animations in the interface. The most prominent technical feature is the implementation of a theme-switching system, allowing the user to toggle between a light and a dark color palette to enhance the reading experience and accessibility.

Book Searcher

This project is an application designed for searching books by title. The implementation involved developing a backend with Node.js and Express, and a frontend with Vite. One of the main features is the integration with an external API for data retrieval. During development, there was a deep dive into application state management and adapting the architecture for a production deployment using serverless functions on Vercel.
